An invitation to outstanding International investigative journalists:
IRE would like to invite you to submit your work for its annual investigative reporting contest. The deadline for all categories has been extended to January 15th. Original work can be published in any language, though because our judges are English-speakers, we need to have major pieces translated into English and should be accompanied by our usual questionnaire, also in English. All entries will be included in IRE’s archive of some of the best international reporting in the world.
Outstanding international work can be entered in any category and may also be recognized, at the judges’ discretion, with a special IRE certificate or other honor. IRE especially would like to encourage entries for its Renner Award – a category that includes reporting on organized crime and corruption, recognizing that many of our colleagues around the world are the leaders in this area of specialty.
